The capital city is Washington DC. All American presidents ( apart from George Washington) lived in the White House. United states is the fourth largest country in the world and the third largest in terms of population. English is the most commonly spoken language in the USA. The most populated city in the USA is New York. The longest rivers in the USA are Missouri and Missisippi. The tallest mountain in the US is McKinley located in the state of Alaska. The most popular  team sports are American football, baseball, basketball and ice hockey. The currency used in the country is United States Dollar ($).The most popular music styles are: jazz, rock, pop and hip-hop. The country is also home to Hollywood. This is located  in California and is the home to most movie and television studios. America also has large companies such as Apple, Nike, Microsoft and Disney.
